Impeccability: An Extension of the Heart

It's interesting...the notion of impeccability as an imperative for the progress of a warrior in training. I took it seriously, of course, at the beginning of my "education" and, of course, failed miserably in terms of manifesting it in my day-to-day life.

Now I know why. Something I learned...apprehended within my body...upon engaging Lujan's corpus of knowledge and while interacting with his luminous clan of heart warriors: impeccability cannot be forced upon oneself from the outside in. Ego-driven perfectionism in order to command control is doomed from the outset. Control over oneself simply cannot coexist in this dissonant state of craving.

The paradox holds the answer. To gain control, in terms of release from ones habitual state of indulging and compromise, one must release the grip that controls. This is called "effortless effort", as I've heard my warrior cohorts say again and again. Cultivating a state of profound release...from our agenda...from our preoccupations...from our long-winded desires...ushers us into a state of suspension that has its seat in the heart of a warrior. And when our hearts are aligned with the moment that we are perennially suspended in, then we are aligned with purpose and energy far beyond our previous machinations. We become bathed in the magic of the moment...and that state, simply put, is impeccability itself. Action flows from this state with smooth, seamless elegance and sophistication that, in my own experience, never ceases to be utterly surprising. It surprises in such a way that the warrior who experiences it...if he or she is worth her salt....can never take full credit for. And this leads us to the notion of a warrior's humility.

Again...humility cannot be contrived...especially alongside attempts resulting in contrived impeccability. True humility...just as true impeccability....is a natural phenomenon of being centered and suspended within one's heart.

Both are a joy to behold...and experience. They are real...and they are natural states of existence. They are our heritage!

  1. Just an added insight....a reiteration.

Humility arises naturally from perennial surprise...from being available to and immersed in the presence of the impersonal to witness the tincture of its signature: surprise and synchronicity.

  2. Yes that's true. Another way to see it is that within ourselves we are in others.

Everything that we see affects our field of perception, even though the peripheral attention is not noted. Body consciousness absorbs the construct or the programming that stabilizes our being within this matrix.

Our integrity is determined by what we become aware of, not that which we project as validation.

Glance can you tell me about your first experience when you were in the Tensegrity class where you found the blue porthole, in a new post.

    Lots of love

  3. love to you and your delightful ability to express in words so clear and bright, Glance....

I would want to add something, although your words need no adding...exactly this...letting go of the need to control, or the illusion that you can have it, or even need it, and the utter freedom that follows if you do let go...then the effort truly becomes effortless, your growing impeccability leads the way for you to grow and align, nevermind the stumbles along the way, and humility begets a meaning that I never understood from the inside before, and I tell the world in absolute awe in a whisper Thank You I Love You!!! because my heart feels to be swelling too much not to say it.

  4. Clara,

Yes! That's it exactly. The image I have is that of a gigantic knot of string....seemingly utterly insoluble from the outside looking in...that can be laboriously picked at...from the outside in.

Or it can be resolve from the inside out through this sustained release that you illustrate above...beginning within the heart.

Release of control begets (lol...love that word!) impeccability which begets humility and so on...and then soon, the whole knot is loosened beyond a certain threshold and the unraveling occurs at an ever increasing pace, accelerating the warrior into full transcendence.

"I tell the world in absolute awe in a whisper Thank You I Love You!!!"

    :D

Yes, yes. The body knows! This has been my labor of love...bringing the heart of operation away from the "monkey mind" down deep within the body and letting it inform me as to "what is what" and then acting from that impetus.

I had no idea of the level of intelligence of feeling that awaits us in the body....we've been preoccupied by the obsessions of the conditioned mind for so long! The body is the absolute seat of our greatest gift...that intelligence of feeling. And...as you've said to me many times before...in terms of the vast "kingdom of the body".....the heart.....is king!

    Thank you, Lujan

  6. Lujan,

I'd be glad to put up that incredible experience. One of the clearest memories I have to date...and it was a dream! I'll toss it up as a new post.
